For the second year, StyleWeekOC^®and Newport Beach Film Festival join forces at Fashion Island to ignite the conversation between film and fashion. Celebrating its 26th year, the Newport Beach Film Festival is one of the leading luxury lifestyle film festivals in the U.S., showcasing a curated selection of international films and cultural events along the Southern California coast. Dedicated to original storytellers, the Festival highlights contemporary cinema and fosters conversations with filmmakers and artists. Sponsors include UCI Health, Los Angeles Times, The Envelope, KIA, Fashion Island, and the City of Newport Beach. The 2025 Festival runs October 16–23.

Fashion Island is proud to present the House of Mirrors installation for StyleWeekOC, a fusion of high fashion and cinematic wonder. Inspired by the opulent, velvet-draped worlds of Baz Luhrmann’s cinema, our installation is a homage to the intersection of fashion and film. Drawing on the lush aesthetics of classic cinematic dressing rooms and the dreamy reflections of a carnival funhouse, this piece invites visitors to step into a surreal, mirrored dreamscape. Here, fashion becomes a reflection of identity, and every angle reveals a new cinematic story. Inspired by iconic cinematic scenes, this installation transforms Newport Beach’s Fashion Island into a stage where visitors become both the audience and the stars.

MONTAGE! features several of Orange County School of the Art’s (OCSA) celebrated student artists. This interdepartmental performing group provides a unique opportunity for OCSA students to build impressive resumes, develop industry connections, and form life-long friendships. Recognized as OCSA’s performance ambassadors, MONTAGE! combines the talents of singers, dancers, and instrumentalists in unforgettable performances at community gatherings, private and corporate functions, and OCSA Foundation events. Through these dynamic appearances, MONTAGE! not only raises awareness of OCSA’s mission and artistic excellence, but also plays a vital role in generating important funds for the OCSA Foundation. These funds directly support the evolving needs of the school and students. MONTAGE! students proudly represent the spirit, culture, and high standards of OCSA, leaving a lasting impression on audiences across Southern California.

All StyleWeekOC panels and discussions will take place at the Neiman Marcus - Bloomingdale's Courtyard. Please sign up via Eventbrite (see Event Schedule for links). All StyleWeekOC events are first-come, first-served, and weather permitting. We cannot guarantee seating once event capacity has been reached. We recommend arriving at least 30 minutes prior the start of the event as event space will fill up quickly. Reserving your space on Eventbrite does not guarantee you a seat.
