Chef Erik De Marchi, Michelin‑listed and hailing from Emilia‑Romagna, brings decades of Southern California acclaim to Amalfi. A graduate of the IAL Culinary Academy, he refined his craft under Gino Angelini in Los Angeles before founding Oliver’s Osteria (Laguna Beach) in 2018 and Oliver’s Trattoria (Irvine) in 2023—both celebrated for handmade pasta, wood‑fired pizza, and soulful Italian fare. 

Named after his son, Erik’s vision is steeped in family tradition yet imbued with innovation; his trattoria’s signature dishes—Tagliolini al Tartufo Nero & Tortelloni di Ricotta e Spinaci—have earned Michelin Guide honors. 

With Amalfi, Chef De Marchi shifts focus to authentic Italian street food: think market‑fresh neapolitan cuoppo, amalfitano, pizza al taglio, and vibrant pasta plates served in a setting bursting with Mediterranean warmth.
