BOUNTY HUNTERS - Meet us at Mendo. That’s the phrase on everyone’s lips as Mendocino Farms debuted its Cal-Fresh fare near Bloomingdale’s. The fast-casual eatery specializes in local and non-modified ingredients.

JUICY COUTURE - Add some sun to your sips at JOEY, bringing tropical vibes to its cocktail scene. The Crush Cocktails include the Mai Tai Crush, the Hurricane Crush, and the return of the Watermelon Drink, a crowd fave made with watermelon juice, vodka, agave and lime juice.

TROPICAL HEATWAVE - Great Maple knows a thing about presentation, whether it's the parade of donuts or the pomp of craft cocktails. This summer, tiki lovers will find paradise in the Tropical Merm-ade, made with coconut rum, pineapple, lime and bitters.

COOL AS A CUCUMBER - A summertime cocktail has a singular purpose: It must make you feel cool in a very literal sense. Behold the Cucumber Refresher from Red O, made with tequila, cucumber and agave.

BOWLED OVER - Next door to Mendocino Farms, the LA-based Sweetgreen is doling out cult salads like Kale Caesar and Guacamole Greens with tortilla chips, roasted chicken and jalapeño vinaigrette. Fulfilling umami dreams: The Shroomami Bowl with sesame tofu and miso portobellos.

THE BIG SPLASH - From James Beard-nominated brothers Jeffrey and Michael Mastro comes the long-awaited luxury fine dining concept Ocean 48, a nationwide exclusive debuting this summer. Ocean 48 will be next-level with indoor poolside dining, and a collection of intimate spaces for a la carte and private dining events. Ocean 48 will feature an extensive seafood menu and the same world-class steaks as Steak 48, the luxury steakhouse owned by the brothers with six locations around the country. This concept is designed specifically for its one-of-a-kind location at Fashion Island in Newport Beach.
