StyleWeekOC® x Newport Beach Film Festival delivered the stars, the style and can’t-miss community events.

The star-studded crowd descending on Fashion Island brought new levels of fanfare. And fandom. Each year, Fashion Island’s powerhouse event, StyleWeekOC® x Newport Beach Film Festival, brings star power, yes. But it also sets the cultural agenda—what to wear, who to watch—evolving the rich conversation between film and fashion.
All eyeballs were on Ashley Park, Penn Badgley, Noah Schnapp, and Hollywood heartthrob Jacob Elordi, honored with the NBFF’s Maverick Award for his work in both film and television. The “Emily in Paris” star wooed the crowd while Badgley was signing copies of his new book Crushmore along side his Podcrushed co-hosts Sophie Ansari and Nava Kavelin.
During the festival, Elordi also participated in a live taping of The Hollywood Reporter’s Awards Chatter podcast while his “Frankenstein” adaptation was screened with fanfare. Schnapp, meanwhile, earned NBFF’s Spotlight Award, and dozens of hearts as his fans took to the stage for selfies. The “Stranger Things” actor’s appearance was well-timed with the cliffhanger finale of the cult show airing this winter.

The sleeper hit: Dance and fashion collided as OCSA Montage! troupe performed at a site-specific art installation on the Macy’s Lawn. Decked out in On and American Vintage, the dancers moved through the immersive mirrored exhibit, transforming a catwalk into high-style choreography.
In its 14th year, StyleWeekOC® is Orange County’s most anticipated fashion event. The five-day headliner has become a mainstay of the Hollywood circuit with cinephiles and fashion lovers flocking to Fashion Island for movie magic, major social moments and community-spirited events.
