The CHOC ladies were channeling Versailles for this year’s gala theme.
It was equal parts business and pleasure for CHOC’s annual March meeting at Bloomingdale's. At "Get Gala Ready,” members were treated to sips and bites as they perused the season’s dresses and shoes as well as Bottega Veneta bags and the latest in skin care, makeup, and fragrance.
111Skin offered cryo facials, Lancome demo'd their new cream blush launch and Tom Ford Fragrance helped guests identify their own unique scent. Meanwhile, the message of the day came from speaker Emily Krout, daughter of Bill & Nancy Thompson and a key advocate for the Thompson Autism and Neurodevelopmental Center at CHOC, for which this guild has pledged $1Million.
The CHOC Gala is a premier annual fundraising evening dedicated to honoring miracles and supporting patients at Children's Hospital of Orange County (CHOC), featuring dinner, entertainment, and auctions. The 2025 event, held in May, raised over $7.4 million, with funds supporting specialized clinical care, research, and education.
