The Ultimate Class Pass
Lululemon reimagines its West Coast Flagship as a new-era community hub.

The rules have changed at Lululemon. The brand has launched its community-first playbook at Fashion Island, reimagining its West Coast Flagship as a wellness landmark designed to deepen connections through its ambassador network and local movement experiences. While the sheer scale of the new footprint is impressive, the heart of the design is rooted in the “Third Space” philosophy, a place that exists between home and work where community thrives.
By moving away from traditional retail barriers, the store invites guests to linger, connect, and engage, functioning as a high-energy social hub. This philosophy is woven into the very fabric of the design; guests can find dedicated community boards highlighting local ambassadors and a rotating schedule of upcoming events—ranging from OC run clubs to collaborative brand activations—designed to keep the Newport Beach community engaged and inspired.
The HQ is already in full swing with a packed calendar of philanthropic and fitness activations. The store recently joined forces with The Pendry and the Balboa Run Club to host a session
for the Wings for Life World Run, supporting spinal cord research. The momentum continues onto the Fashion Island lawn with events like “Mom and Babe Pilates” classes in collaboration with OC Mom Walks.
This spring, keep eyes peeled for additional run events and exclusive in-store fitness classes designed to spotlight its newest local ambassadors, transforming the retail floor into a live studio.
