Not too edgy. Not too old-school. There’s this sweet spot where Todd Snyder likes to operate, straddling the line between contemporary and classic. Where crafty details and unexpected collaborations lure customers to embrace risks—however subtle they may be.

“I’m excited to be opening in Newport Beach because there’s an elegant ease to the way people live there, which should make our new store the ultimate menswear destination for Fashion Island’s discerning clientele,” says Snyder.

Todd Snyder Summer 2025 Collection

Todd Snyder is a formidable HQ for fashion insiders, menswear enthusiasts and sharp dressers worldwide. From bespoke tailoring to innovative capsule collections, the store tees up a thrilling hunt. There’s timeless essentials and statement pieces such as Japanese denim, selvedge chinos and Italian-made shoes and sandals. Plus: A curated selection of vintage timepieces and jewelry.

Lest we forget the limited-edition collaborations with heritage brands like Champion, New Balance, Timex, Moscot and most recently, the music-inspired—and salmon hued—Bon Iver drop.

“When I started my company 14 years ago, I set out to take the iconic styles in a gentleman’s wardrobe and then elevate them by combining fabrics from the world’s best mills with modern design. Similarly, our stores are meant to evoke the same sense of sartorial discovery I felt when I first visited London’s Jermyn Street and Tokyo’s Harajuku neighborhood,” says Snyder, the former director of J. Crew menswear who launched his label in 2011.

Todd Snyder Champion collaboration

The store follows his celebrated runway return earlier this year, debuting his designs for Woolrich Black Label, an American outdoors brand where he serves as creative director. Here, he takes a hardworking essential, like a safari shirt and cargo pants, and reimagines it in luxurious materials. That same formula applies to Todd Snyder Collection, featuring Italian Suede Bombers ($1,998) Italian Cashmere Chore Coats ($1,498) and Sea Soft Irish Linen Shirts ($158). Snyder continues a legacy of men’s style at Fashion Island, which began when GARYS debuted in 1978. The haberdashery envisioned a jet-set dress code through a Southern California lens. Together with Neiman Marcus, it set the pace for Fashion Island’s curated mix of exclusive men’s stores.
